Popular characters such as Ash Williams from "Evil Dead", Alucard from "Hellsing", and Lilith and Inarium from Diablo, have become playable operators in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone since October.
During the reveal of The Haunting, it was leaked that a "Dune"-themed operator pack would be coming to the game. With only days before the Modern Warfare 2's wind down, it is just the perfect time to release the "Dune" Sardaukar operator bundle.
In case you missed it, the Sardaukars are one of the antagonist groups in the "Dune" universe who are known to be fearsome and violent warriors. Although the full details of the bundle are still unknown, there are speculations that it will include a character skin along with two weapon blueprints.
'Dune' Sardaukar Bundle in Modern Warfare 3
The Modern Warfare 3 is just days before its official release. Launching on November 10, the "Dune" Sardaukar bundle will be transferred over into the new game. Meanwhile, there are also speculations that this will be the last Call of Duty collaboration for a while.
The sci-fi film "Dune: Part Two" was initially slated for cinemas by October. However, the recent Hollywood strike affected the production, and the film was moved to 2024. It is possible that the collaboration was done prior to the delay and both franchise was meant to debut at the same time.
Regardless, fans of "Dune" and Modern Warfare can still enjoy the best of both worlds by experiencing a glimpse of the film through the collaboration, which has now become five months early.
