It's been a little over a month since the latest Assassin's Creed game was released. While it has been well-received by critics and players alike, there are still a couple of things that need fixing. With the latest patch, most of the issues have been amended.
Fixed Gameplay Bugs
The bug with the Fire Demon outfit has been patched. Previously, players wouldn't receive the right number of shards when assassinating or killing an ISU hunter. Along with that, the issues with the store rewards have also been fixed.
Furthermore, Basim will now have an equal chance to play any of his take-down animations when performing front executions. Onto to more important bug fixes, several missions have also been repaired within Assassin's Creed Mirage.
During the quest where the player needs to speak with Ali, some have complained that Ali would sometimes get stuck, preventing them from moving on with the quest. The same goes for elements in "Follow the Fiery Trail" and "Nehal's Calling," all of which have been patched.
Graphics, UI, and Animation Fixes
Players have been requesting that Ubisoft add the option to enable or disable Chromatic Aberration, which is an effect wherein the colors appear distorted in the distance. The request has been fulfilled has players now have the choice to add or remove it.
Visual improvements have been applied to the environment, along with the VFX and weapons. For NPCs, their clothes will now appear more naturally. They will navigate and interact with each other better and will be rendered better from a short distance.
There are players who are bothered that the NPCs are highlighted too long after Eagle Vision has been turned off. With the update, they will be highlighted for a shorter time and key icons and quest objectives will now remain above their heads in Eagle Vision.
As for player-centric issues, Ubisoft has fixed the awkward movements of Basim's legs along with other animation fixes. Cinematics will run properly as well after the credits. When opening medium chests, the items acquired will appear as they should.
Compatibility
OWO Game, a company known for its gaming gadgets like haptics suits, created one specially for Assassin's Creed Mirage. The suit's design aligns with the game's theme and can be bought for 539 EUR. Although there are no reported issues, Ubisoft improved its OWO Haptic Suit support.
In addition to that, the video game company has also fixed the number of active monitors allowed for laptop players. Players can now enjoy Assassin's Creed Mirage on a wider scale with additional screens.
Update Size
The size of the updates depends on the device you are playing on. For Xbox Series X and S, the total update would be 3.54 GB. It's only a little lower for the Xbox One: B update which will take up 3.02 GB.
For PS5, it will have the lowest update size of 2.83 GB. On the other hand, PS4 will have the biggest update size out of all the platforms at 5.79 GB. For PC, the 1.0.5 patch will take up 4.22 GB. The update will be available on November 7th.
