Fans of Netflix's hit sensation, "Arcane," would still need to wait for a long time before the animated show's second season. To be exact, the continuation of Vi and Jinx's story will have to pause until November 2024.
However, "Arcane" is not the only show Netflix can offer to an audience that wants innovative animation mixed with compelling stories and jaw-dropping fight scenes.
In fact, there are a lot of shows on the streaming platform waiting to be discovered. Here are five animated shows on Netflix you should watch while waiting for Arcane's second season:
1. 'Love, Death + Robots'
Did the animation from "Arcane" become your main hook to the show? Then "Love, Death + Robots" is the perfect answer to that craving.
The animated anthology features various stories with each episode featuring a new animation style to drive the story forward. In one episode, the show even used the same combination of 3D animation and comic style design featured in "Arcane," "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish," and "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse."
Of course, "Love, Death + Robots" is no slouch to the narrative story too, with episodes like "Bad Travelling," "Beyond the Aquila Rift," "and Zima Blue" getting an 8/10 rating in IMDB. Most of the stories are standalone so there is no need to wait for another season to find the conclusion.
The anthology series currently has three seasons on Netflix with Season 4 officially confirmed.
2. 'DOTA: Dragon's Blood'
"Dragon's Blood" is DOTA's answer to League of Legends 's "Arcane" with the story revolving around the game's iconic characters.
Filled with dispute and drama, "Arcane" fans would not have a shortage of political fights and emotional moments that became a hallmark of the series.
Little easter eggs can also be found across the series for longtime fans while giving an ample introduction to people new to the world of "Azeroth."
"DOTA: Dragon's Blood" has four seasons all available on Netflix. There is not much news yet for the next season.
3. 'Castlevania'
Another great series adaptation from a beloved game series is "Castlevania" on Netflix.
The story revolves around a human vampire hunter fighting a besieged city to kill Dracula himself. While the synopsis sounds typical, the amount of drama and intrigue in the series will surely hook people whether they were old fans of the game or not.
"Castlevania" already has four seasons on Netflix with a spin-off, "Castlevania: Nocturne," released on the platform last Sept. 28.
The show features a bit of gore and violence, so be careful when watching the show around children and minors.

4. 'Blood of Zeus'
Fan of Greek mythology? Then "Blood of Zeus" is the right dose of fights and history lessons.
The eight-episode show chronicles the struggles of an illegitimate son of Zeus, the god of sky and thunder, tasked to save heaven and earth as he fights against a vengeful goddess and her monstrous minions.
The show is budding with family drama, reminiscent of the dysfunctional relationship between Vi and Jinx in Arcane. The show also has a lot of action scenes, so there is that to look for.
The teaser for the second season of the "Blood of Zeus" was recently released as the show heightens its game and narrative.
5. 'Blue Eye Samurai'
If you are a bit of an anime fan, then "Blue Eye Samurai" is the perfect fit for you.
The animated series released this year follows the story of Mizu, a mixed-race master of the sword seeking revenge in the Edo-period Japan. There are a lot of amazing sword fights to be expected when diving into the series.
The series was created by Michael Green from "Logan" and "Blade Runner 2049" with his partner Amber Noizumi.
Season two for "Blue Eye Samurai" has already been announced as the series gains more fans day by day.
