Apple is taking its time to improve the "ambitious and compelling" iOS 18 system patch to fix all of its bugs.
Apple recently took a one-week work freeze on the new system to make sure that iOS 18 will deliver "major new features and designs" as well as performance improvements.
Other device systems scheduled with iOS 18 like the iPadOS 18, macOS 15, and watchOS 11 will be on a short pause to be rooted out of glitches. The next generation operating systems are scheduled for next year.

The tech giant's CEO Tim Cook said the company has been working on integrating AI technology on their devices for years.
