If you look at refrigerators from the 1950s, you'll realize how the modern ones we have now have devolved. Vintage models have a lot of storage and shelves that slide out. Now, we must rely on organizers to ensure our fridges aren't cramped. Here are some organizers you can use.
1. Turntable
One of the struggles of taking something out of the fridge is if they're located way back. Either you'll take out some of the items at the front, or you'll have to be careful so won't knock anything down as you do. A rotating organizer will fix that problem.
You can use it for condiments, mostly, or the items that you often use. The turntable is 11 inches in diameter and has an outer rim to keep things from falling off. It has steel bead bearings so you can expect it to turn smoothly. As it is made of plastic, you can just wipe off any spills.
2. Hanging Soda Can Dispenser
You need to keep your soda or beer cans in the fridge to keep them cold, but they can take up a lot of space. There are other organizers that stack the cans up, but they still require shelf surface. A hanging rack will make use of the space above the shelves.
The dispenser can fit the standard-sized 12oz cans you usually buy. The only downside with the product is that it can only hold five cans each. The item is made of stainless steel, but it does have an anti-slip pad to make sure the rack will stick to the interlayer.
3. Wine Rack
Placed vertically, your wine or other liquor bottles will not take up too much space, but they might be harder to reach. You can place them on the rack located at the refrigerator door, but opening might lead to the bottle falling and breaking.
With this wine rack, you can place two bottles at a time horizontally. The bottom of the rack is stable enough to prevent tilting or rocking, which is bad for some beverages like champagne. This particular product can even be stacked as much as your shelf allows.
4. Egg Rack
There are certain models that already have their own egg racks, and it's usually located on the door. However, the small space means that it can only hold six to a dozen eggs at a time. If you want more space for storage, there are a lot of egg racks that can fit in the fridge.
This particular egg rack has two layers, each being able to hold 16, meaning that you can put up to 32 in the storage. You won't have to bring the entire storage as well since you can slide each layer out using the handle.
5. Clear Bins
Probably the ones you'll use the most, you'll find that you can store a variety of food items in your fridge through this organizing method. Think of it as miniature shelves since you can stack each container on top of one another.
It's made of plastic, so they won't add too much weight to your shelves. The containers have a drain hole that can be opened to remove excess water from your vegetables and fruits as you wash them. Since they're clear, you can which items are in certain bins.
