RoboCop: Rogue City garnered positive feedback from the franchise's fans despite being released in less than a month.
RoboCop: Rogue City's Impressive Release
In a span of two weeks, Nacon's recent game already gained 435,000 players, an impressive feat for a new game. The FPS game allows the players to take on the role of Robocop who will try his best to deliver justice in Old Detroit.
The narrative of Rogue City takes place somewhere in the middle of the second and third "RoboCop" movies. Players can either take the peaceful or the aggressive gameplay. Sidequests are also available as the players patrol the city.
Although the exact sales figure of the game remains unknown, Nacon shared that the 435,000 players from two weeks of release is pleasing news for the company. CEO Alain Falc thanked game developer Teyon and the "RoboCop" franchise owner MGM for making the game happen.
Fans Praise RoboCop: Rogue City
Several players sent some praises upon the game's release, citing that the game was able to recreate the satirical yet gritty tone of the franchise. Teyon did an impressive job as the company had already a reputation for making remarkable games based on popular franchises such as "Terminator."
As of writing, the RoboCop: Rogue City is already Nacon's biggest launch ever. Hopefully, the game will continue to impress and invite more players to try the game.
The RoboCop: Rogue City is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
