Amazon to Broadcast NFL Black Friday Game with Product Sales

The National Football League will broadcast this Friday's game exclusively on Amazon Prime with a dash of Black Friday sales.

Amazon will stream the New Yorks Jets vs Miami Dolphins free-to-watch game on Thanksgiving while advertising its platform.

Exclusive retail deals from brands like TCL, Lego, and Nintendo will be displayed in each quarter of the game via QR codes.

The e-commerce giant will be able to direct stay-home shoppers to browse for merchandise at its online stores while still raking views from the game itself.

NFL and Amazon are determined to make the streaming deal become part of an annual tradition of "Thursday Night Football." The Black Friday game deal was finalized in 2021.

" It was a perfect partnership because obviously, Black Friday is a huge event for us every year," Amazon global sports head Jay Marine said.

The "Super Bowl" game will also be broadcast on cable channels of CBS, NBC, and Fox.

Amazon Black Friday Sales

Amazon's Black Friday campaign started last week, Nov. 17, with Black Friday itself being the busiest day.

The huge shopping spree will continue five days into the weekends and end with the Cyber Monday sales.

Amazon has been competing with other retail stores to attract customers to its platforms. Large retailers like Walmart and Target are offering huge discounts at the same time.

Last year's Black Friday sales generated $9.12 billion from online sales alone with Amazon leading the market revenue.

Amazon was not the first to capitalize on huge sporting events to heavily promote its products.

Rival tech giant Apple has a 10-year exclusive deal with Major League Soccer games to advertise its products while broadcasting.

Black Friday Super Bowl Match

The New York Jets will face off the Miami Dolphins at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The game will kick off at 3 p.m. EST.

Miami currently leads the division at 7-3 after its win over the Las Vegas Riders.

New York, on the other hand, is set to take its first victory after three lose-streaks with its last bout with Buffalo Bills ending with a 32-6 result. The Jets sit at 4-6.
