Verizon has officially launched the Rose Gold Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The phablet is available now for $249.99 when signing a new 2-year contract.
Verizon recently told us that a Rose Gold Samsung Galaxy Note 3 would be offered in the future and it has now just announced that the golden-hued smartphone is available for purchase through its online store. The Rose Gold Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be an exclusive to Verizon customers and is the same Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that it has been offering, but now it has rose gold-colored accents on its exterior and S Pen stylus.
The Galaxy Note 3 blurs the line between a small tablet and a large smartphone and has proven to be a very popular device in the U.S., as it's one of the most successful devices offered by all four major carriers. The phablet packs in a 5.7-inch Full HD display that makes watching video and doing basically anything on it feel like you're not doing it on a phone. It also excels by having a 2.3GHz quad-core processor do all of its heavy lifting and enough RAM to keep everything running smoothly.

As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a 5.7-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 386 pixels per inch (ppi). The phablet ships with Android 4.3 with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top, but Android 4.4 KitKat is currently in testing and expected to be released soon. The phablet is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit (GPU) and 3GB of RAM. It includes 32GB of internal storage and has a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 64GB of additional memory.
Its camera capabilities include a 13-megapixel illuminated rear camera with "smart stabilization", 1080p HD video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and selfies. Its wireless connectivity options consist of a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, and an IR blaster to turn the Note 3 into a universal remote control. The Galaxy Note 3 ships with a large 3,200 mAh removable battery that will provide up to 24 hours of continuous usage and sports a new faux-leather back plate.
You can head over to Verizon's site to place your order if you'd like the Rose Gold version of the phablet. The carrier currently shows the Galaxy Note 3 on backorder, but says it will ship by Jan. 30.
