The invite-exclusive version dropped in time for the finals of the annual Dreamhack Hannover tournament. Many fans speculated that the game would come out before the competition.

Prior to its release, Arena has been teased to fans since April as a more combat-focused spin-off of the original Escape from Tarkov game.

Arena takes many inspirations from modern Call of Duty games while retaining the same shooting mechanics and visual engine many players have loved in the extraction-type game.

Positive feedbacks have increased since the initial announcement.

How to Get the Escape from Tarkov: Arena Beta Version

Arena is still in the beta version, so only a few people will be able to play it for now.

If you are not among those lucky few selected in the first batch of invites, don't lose hope yet.

Arena will be available to players that pre-ordered the game or availed of the "Edge of Darkness" edition of Escape from Tarkov.

Even now, players can purchase the game and join the waiting list of invitations for the shooter game. They just have to look in their emails if they received an invitation to play.

Battlestate Games vowed to add more players into the game as soon as servers became more stable and working as intended.

There is no announcement when the next batch of invites will roll out, nor any schedules when the game will be out of closed beta.

GamerLegion Wins on First Ever Tarkov Arena Tournament on Hannover

The release of Arena was made special with its first-ever tournament in Hannover.

eSports team GamerLegion took home the €50,000 ($54,517.50) cash prize of the three-day competition.

GamerLegion's Cocao was specially called out for bringing the team to victory despite heavy competitors, including fan-favorite Virtus.pro who seemed to shape as the winner during the first play-offs.

Over 60,000 viewers watched the tournament live on Twitch.

Espace from Tarkov: Arena is expected to join Counter Strike in the main tournaments in Hannover.
