Apple Vision Pro is rumored to be released around late January to early February after analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that the device is currently in mass production and will begin shipments by the first week of January 2024.
Apple Vision Pro is Coming Soon
The Apple Vision Pro made its debut during the WWDC last June. Over the past months, reports showed some challenges in developing the device such as neck strain complaints on the weight of the device.
After the confirmation that the Vision Pro will be arriving sometime in early 2024, a company memo was sent to retail employees detailing the application for a product training event. Although it was not confirmed that it was for the Vision Pro, the device is currently the only Apple device that needs intensive product training to sell.
Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman initially estimated that the device would be released in March. However, Kuo hinted that it is possible to have an official store launch by late January or early February. The prediction is based on the current mass shipment schedule.
Apple Preps for Vision Pro Launch
Last week, Gurman revealed that Apple is already ramping up the production of the mixed-reality headset and is preparing for a launch by February. If both are correct, Apple will be starting the year with a big reveal ahead of them.
In addition, Kuo also believed that around 500,000 units are about to be shipped next year. "If user feedback on Vision Pro is better than expected, it will help strengthen the market consensus that 'Vision Pro is the next star product in consumer electronics' and the related supply chain stock price," he added.
Currently, there are a couple of dates that are suspected to be the launch date such as January 26, February 2, February 9, or February 16.
