The Washington-based retail seller announced that its one-year Gold Star Membership can now be purchased for only $20 when buying a $40 Digital Costco Shop Card for $60.

This membership bundle is $20 cheaper than buying the two membership cards separately. The digital membership can be gifted to others for Christmas or New Year.

The membership status is an efficient cost-cutting option when shopping at Costo, in time with the rising inflation in the US.

How to Avail Costco Gold Star Membership

Getting both the Star Membership and Digital Shop Card is pretty simple and easy.

Customers just need to visit Costco's Membership Application page and provide an email account where Costco can send its membership numbers. No coupon is required.

Once registered, customers just need to present the membership number and one valid ID to the nearest Costco store in their area to receive their new cards. The membership comes with a free Household Card.

The membership is renewed annually and can be used across 871 Costco warehouses worldwide.

Benefits of a Costco Membership: Discounts, Bundles, and Bonuses

Gold Star members can look up more saving options via Costco Services. Membership bonuses include discounted prices on auto and home insurance, pet insurance, identity protection, and resort packages outside the US.

Of course, members also receive a discount privilege on groceries, gas, clothing, furniture, and auto services within the retail center.

At the same time, members can cancel their plan anytime by contacting the retailer's Member Services Center at 1-800-774-2678.

Customers can also speak to a team member in any of Costco's warehouses to receive an immediate refund from their card.
