GE Appliances introduced the first indoor electric smoker with active smoke filtration called the GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker. The appliance is set to appear at the CES 2024 next week but is now on sale at Williams Sonoma and Best Buy.
GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker
The countertop smoker uses the same wood pellets that are usually used on outdoor pellet grills. This ensures that the food gets the same wood-smoked flavor while the active smoke filtration transforms the smoke into warm air.
Customers can smoke various foods from meats, seafood, and even vegetables, any time in the comfort of their kitchen. All of this is possible without needing to set up an outdoor grill. The GE Profile Smart Indoor Smoker is equipped with five adjustable smoke settings.
Moreover, it has six preset food settings, allowing even beginners to smoke brisket, pork ribs, pork butt, chicken wings, chicken breast, and salmon. The smoker also has a built-in temperature probe that constantly checks the temperature of the food.

The smoker package includes three cooking racks, two removable rack holders, a drip pan, a waste bin, and an interior counter guard. Users are also required to connect to the SmartHQ app for better controls.
In addition, it has a large capacity that can fit three racks of ribs, a brisket, a full chicken, and up to 40 chicken wings, or a 14-pound pork butt. Any brand of pellets can be used by the smoker.
The GE indoor smoker is now available for $999 at the GE Appliances official website, Williams Sonoma, and Best Buy. The company might also have a live demonstration once the appliance is on display at the CES 2024.
