TikTok Fitness Powered by Peloton

According to the fitness company, the campaign will provide selected live Peloton classes that can be followed with and without gym equipment. Creator partnerships will also be opened, giving the users celebrity collaborations that can be accessible through the #TikTokFitness hashtag.

"We collectively recognize the way people engage with fitness is constantly changing," VP of consumer marketing at Peloton, Oil Snoddy said. "Our team is excited to complement TikTok's already burgeoning fitness content by introducing the magic of Peloton to new audiences, and in completely new ways," he added.

During the pandemic, Peloton had a surge of sales as consumers flocked to buy its stationary bikes and at-home treadmills. During that time, people were left no choice but to continue their fitness journey at home, instead of going to a gym.

Peloton Rebrands, Introduces New Strategy

The company recently announced its rebranded strategy that aims to open fitness for all by creating a tiered pricing category on its app. Peloton is now known for providing a monthly subscription for its fitness content.

In addition, the company also entered a deal with YouTube TV, making it the official entertainment hub for their equipment. As for the TikTok partnership, Peloton promised that it would go beyond workout videos as behind-the-scenes and get-ready-with-me clips will also be offered.

"This is really about taking the instructors and the content we have any kind of dimensionalizing it to a broader audience on TikTok," Snoddy said.
