MSI Claw Leaked Specs
In a recent leak provided by GeekBench, it is suspected that the MSI Claw would be powered by Intel Core Ultra 7 with Intel Arc 8-cores. In addition, it is believed that it would offer 32GB of RAM.
Based on the revealed specs, the MSI Claw is expected to cost around $900. As of writing, the specs for the battery, weight, and storage capacity are still yet to be unveiled.
In addition, there is also a possibility that MSI will be releasing different versions of the Claw to offer cheaper alternatives for its customers. It could feature varying specs to accommodate different gaming demands.
MSI Claw to Compete With Steam Deck, ROG Ally
It has been two years since Valve introduced the Steam Deck and last year the Steam Deck OLED was announced as the improved version of the latter model. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Ally also became a competitor with its impressive specs.
While the revealed specs hinted that the MSI Claw could potentially rival the existing handheld PCs in the market, there is a hunch that it will all be at the expense of its battery life.
Meanwhile, the leaked promo poster revealed that MSI is planning to give away the new product to lucky customers who will buy some of its products. However, it seems that the event will only be available in Taiwan and China.
