You can now score the Sprint Nexus 5 for a great price of $29.99 when signing a new 2-year contract.
The Nexus 5 is one of the most popular Android smartphones currently available on the market. It is Google's current flagship Nexus smartphone and has some neat tricks to make it worthy of the title. It served as the launch vehicle for Android 4.4 KitKat and between its gorgeous 5-inch 1080p Full HD display, its super fast 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, high-end 8-megapixel rear camera with advanced imaging capabilities and now its very low price for the Sprint variant, the Nexus 5 is one impressive smartphone that deserves to be considered.
Amazon is now selling the Sprint Google Nexus 5 for the low price of $29.99 when signing a new 2-year contract with the carrier. This is a nice savings over the $99.99 Sprint is currently charging for the same device on-contract through its online store.
As a reminder, the Sprint Nexus 5 is LG-built and features a 4.95-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display with a pixel density of 445 pixels-per-inch (ppi), and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. The smartphone is packing a very snappy 2.26GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit (GPU) and 2GB of RAM to provide a fast and fluid user interface. The smartphone includes 16GB of internal storage and Amazon is also offering 50GB of free Amazon Cloud Drive storage for one year.
When it comes to its camera capabilities, you'll find an 8-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and improved HDR+ mode, as well as a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter for video chat and selfies. Its wireless connectivity options consist of 4G LTE radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 with Bluetooth 4.0 LE abilities, NFC, and GPS. The Nexus 5 also supports wireless charging out of the box, although you'll have to supply the charging pad, and it's also packing a 2,300 mAh non-removable battery. Sprint will also be releasing an update in the future to enable the LTE Advanced radio inside in order to give the smartphone access to its high-speed 4G LTE Advanced Spark network.
You can now pick up the Sprint Nexus 5 for $29.99 from Amazon when signing a new 2-year contract, but the offer may expire soon.
