Invoxia launched its new smart pet collar called Minitailz which is ideal for both cats and dogs and is capable of measuring location, providing biometrics, and having a conversational generative AI agent.
Invoxia Minitailz
The Minitailz is an upgraded version of the Invoxia Smart Dog Collar that was released last year. The first-gen smart collar was only capable of tracking location and recording biometrics for dogs.
As for the Minitailz, it only weighs 36 grams making it ideal even for small cats. On the other hand, big breeds can also benefit from the collar as it has an adjustable ring.
The device is equipped with a built-in SIM and GPS technology which measures movements like walks, runs, and daily zoomies in real-time. It can also measure and detect atrial fibrillation so pet owners are alerted for any irregular heartbeat pattern.
Invoxia Introduces Conversational Generative AI for Pet Owners
Unlike humans, pets are not capable of voicing their health concerns. Since the CES 2024 focuses on integrating generative AI into products, Invoxia launched its biggest upgrade for its smart pet collar.
"Thanks to AI, the app automatically detects and records your dog's activities. You can track their well-being on a daily and long-term basis," the company announced.
Pet owners will now be able to inquire on the Minitailz app about certain questions about their pet's health. The AI assistant in the app will create personalized pet reports and will answer any inquiry about them.
The Minitailz smart pet tracker for dogs is now available online while the cat version will be released in March. Both versions are priced at $99 for the hardware and a $8.30 monthly subscription for SIM services.
