Honda 0 Series Unveils Concept Models for Saloon, Space-Hub

According to Honda's Global CEO, the company is focused on producing a completely different value from zero based on three principles: thin, light, and wise, to promote better mobility for EVs. During the CES 2024, Honda unveiled two concept models called Saloon and Space-Hub.

The Saloon is based on Honda's man maximum/machine minimum packaging concept which featured a low and wide exterior but spacious interior. Moreover, the materials are all made from sustainable materials and have a human-machine interface. The Saloon is expected to be released to the North American market by 2026.

Meanwhile, the Space-Hub is based on the theme of "augmenting people's daily lives." The concept vehicle offers a flexible space that can accommodate the preferences of passengers. At the same time, it is a hub that can connect people to each other, even those from the outside.

Honda to Deploy Advanced Driver Assistance, Automated Driving Features for 0 Series

The Honda 0 Series will be equipped with the advanced driver-assistive system which has been used with the Honda Legend in Japan since 2021. Moreover, the next-generation automated driving features will be introduced to the lineup.

"A bold and pure proportion that from the first glance is overwhelmingly different from other EVs to evoke a new perspective for people," Honda's Global EVP, Shinki Aoyama, stated.

Customers can expect advanced AI features and human-like risk predictions for the Honda 0 Series as the company works on the safety and confidence of their EVs. Through the combination of AI and driver data, the vehicle will adapt to the user's driving preferences and behaviors.
