Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Joker-Themed Season
With the reveal, Rocksteady confirmed that the first season will be Joker-themed. It will also include two episodes, featuring new missions, side quests, boss fights, enemy variants, and new gears.
The game was first announced by Rocksteady in 2020, describing it as a co-op looter shooter supervillain game. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set after the events of Batman Arkham Knight in 2015.
Before Joker's fans get excited, the studio clarified that it will be a different version and not the Mark Hamill-voiced one from the Arkham series. Instead, the new Joker was from an alternate dimension in the multiverse.
Rocksteady Plans Expanded DC Multiverse to Upcoming Seasons
Rocksteady revealed that every season will feature a new playable character, along with new environments, and weapons to loot. In addition, the studio also promised seasonal content drops will stay around, giving players more time to enjoy them.
What makes the game more exciting is that all of the content is free and will not be hidden on in-game purchases such as a premium battle pass or an expansion.
On the other hand, Rocksteady is targeting to utilize the DC multiverse by creating new stories and crafting new missions based on different timelines and universes. Hence, allowing the studio to bring back even dead characters, like Joker.
