Smart algorithms are increasingly being integrated into our lives, and invisible assistants are encountered in all areas, improving images, selecting music to suit the user's taste, and even deciphering medical research. Now, they have made their way into children's nutrition.

High psycho-emotional stress, poor environmental conditions, and stress significantly affect people's health. Poor nutrition also takes a heavy toll on the body, particularly critical for children. Alexander Akimov, an IT systems analyst at «NCT Software» in the field of cashless payments and co-founder of the Queatis startup in the HealthFoodTech field, came up with a way to change the situation and raise a new generation with proper eating habits. He created an application that allows parents to plan a balanced children's menu several days in advance.

For the first time, Alexander talks about his project in iTECHPOST.

Alexander has gone from a tester to the position of CTO. He currently holds the position of systems analyst in the IT field at NCT Software and is an expert in high-load systems (high load) and processes in IT agile, scrum, and b2b software. He considers his mission to ensure the efficiency of teams and create stable and user-friendly products. Additionally, Alexander is the founder of a startup in the HealthFoodTech field, where he applies his experience and knowledge for innovative solutions in healthy eating. Alexander's project will help parents choose the perfect diet for their children, taking into account many factors: allergies, food preferences, necessary minerals and vitamins, and ease and speed of preparation.

The idea for the project arose when Alexander thought about how to solve his child's nutrition problem at school. Every day, he spent a lot of time preparing and packing a snack for himself. The same question always arose—how to make the menu not only tasty but also healthy. It turned out that Alexander's friend and colleague, Julia Kim, had the same problem. Then, they decided to make a special mobile application that would help create the perfect menu for each child.

The app features a user-friendly interface that allows the creation of a child's profile with gender and age. Then, data about favorite foods, as well as disliked foods, are entered. An important point is listing all food allergies. If it's necessary to exclude nuts and strawberries, then the recipe will not include strawberry jam or walnuts. And to avoid unpleasant surprises with ingredients—the list of dishes for the week is known in advance. Parents can plan a trip to the store and buy everything they need at once.

The individual menu is created by modern smart algorithms that analyze all the data and select products that meet all the stated requirements. The creators emphasize that the program forms a habit in children to eat healthy and balanced food for life. It also helps users in the future to prefer products rich in all the necessary vitamins and minerals to maintain strong health, physical activity, and efficient brain activity. No fast food, which negatively affects all body systems and can lead to problems with excess weight, gastrointestinal tract, and teeth. At the same time, the project frees parents from the torment of choosing what to give the child to snack on. It's a saving of strength, time, and nerves. Not only a whole team of technical specialists but also a nutritionist—an expert in healthy eating, worked on the development of the application. The children's menu must be balanced, and the products useful—this is the most important thing in the project. The startup is currently actively developing. There are no competitors for this program in the healthy eating market. The development was tested, feedback was received from users, and with new data, all processes are being refined for maximum transparency and ease of use.

The next stage for the creators of the application is to integrate with grocery stores. This will allow you not only to get the perfect menu but also to order products from your favorite store in one click. And there's no need to go anywhere. The courier will deliver the ingredients right to your home. Additional advantages of the project are that it makes life easier for parents, which will help in forming strong and large families, supporting the decision to have more children. This responds to the national interests of many countries. An increase in the birth rate will favorably affect the economy of most states. Alexander advises everyone who wants to create a startup in IT or any other field to try their hand and not be afraid of difficulties. He emphasizes that new developments help people save strength and time, make their lives better and easier, and, as a bonus—boost the economy's development as a whole.
