Xiaomi introduced to the global market its flagship smartphone Xiaomi 14 Series at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, Spain.
The series includes two variants from the lineup: Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Xiaomi 14, both equipped with Leica camera systems.

Xiaomi Partners With Leica for Improved Camera System on 14 Series
The Xiaomi 14 Series has now globally launched during the MWC 2024, highlighting its partnership with Leica. Both Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra come with Leica's Summilux optics.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra boasts a professional quad-camera setup which is all in 50MP. This includes the Leica LYT-900 main camera with OIS, the Leica floating telephoto camera with OIS, the Leica periscope camera with OIS, and the Leica ultra-wide camera with AF.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 14 gets a triple-camera system that comes in 50MP as well. This features the Leica Light Fusion 900 main camera, floating telephoto camera, and Leica ultra-wide camera.
All rear cameras of 14 Ultra are capable of 8K shooting at 30fps with the main camera supporting 4K shooting at 120fps and 4k shooting at 60fps on Dolby Vision. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 can film up to 8k and 4k at 60fps on Dolby Vision.
Xiaomi Integrates AI Tools With HyperOS
In addition, Xiaomi introduced a couple of AI-powered tools that were made possible by its Hyper OS. According to the company its OS is designed as a human-centric system.
The company unveiled AI features such as AI Subtitles, AI Album Search, AI Portraits, and AI Expansion. In addition, the HyperOS has improved the 14 Series by enhancing the lineup's file and memory management, redesigning the UI, and securing its privacy features.
During the MWC 2024, Xiaomi also announced other next-generation devices like the Smart Band 8 Pro, Xiaomi Watch S3, and Xiaomi Watch 2.
