'Fallout' TV Show Removes Elements That Could Hint Fallout 5

Bethesda Game Studio asked "Fallout" TV show producers to omit any details that could be used by the developers for Fallout 5.

Some details from the script were scrapped due to the possible clash with the plans for the upcoming game sequel.

'Fallout' TV Series Steer Clear From Fallout 5

In an interview with Den of Geek, co-showrunner Graham Wagner shared that people involved in the production know about Fallout 5 but explicitly stated they are not telling anyone about it. The producers were told what to omit as it could spoil the next game.

"Well, there were some things where I said, 'Don't do this because we are going to do that in Fallout 5,'" said Todd Howard, Bethesda Game Studios' head.

Bethesda has yet to update the fans about the next Fallout game. One thing is for sure, it would take the studio long enough after the release of The Elder Scrolls 6. Hence, plans could still change, especially with the plot.

'Fallout' TV Series Excites Fans

"Fallout" is already slated to premiere on April 11 on Amazon Prime Video. The series will be available in more than 240 countries and territories.

Last week, Amazon teased the fans by releasing a couple of images and a trailer from the much-awaited video game-based series. Actors like Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, and Kyla MacLachlan will star in the show.

"Fallout" is set 219 years after the Great War in 2296. The events will only be nine years apart from the events of Fallout 4 and 19 years after Fallout 3. The show is also set in the post-apocalyptic Long Angeles.

"If you're not a fan and a bit of intimidated by jumping in a game like that, you can experience everything that's great about this world by clicking your button and enjoying it," Howard explained.
