Epic Games and Harmonix shared that Fortnite Festival will now support Rock Band 4 plastic guitar controllers across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Season 3 of the rhythm game allows the guitar controllers to be used on new song parts: Pro Lead and Pro Bass which are available on the Main Stage.
Fortnite Festival Season 3 Debuts Guitar Controller Support
In a blog post, Epic shared that the guitar controller support is available across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. For instance, PS4 and PS5 support RIFFMASTER Wireless Guitar Controller, RockBand 4 Rivals Wireless Fender Jaguar Guitar, and RockBand 4 Wireless Fender Stratocaster Guitar.
Meanwhile, the RIFFMASTER Wireless Guitar Controller, RockBand 4 Rivals Wireless Fender Jaguar Guitar, RockBand 4 Wireless Fender Stratocaster Guitar are available across Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
Epic also teased that more instrument controllers will soon be announced. The Fortnite Festival has just begun its third season, hinting that next seasons will welcome other instruments.
Fortnite Festival Season 3 Launches Content Creation Program
Fortnite also opened its Support-A-Creator (SAC) program for gamers who want to create YouTube content for Season 3. Content creators can use Billie Eilish's Jam Tracks during their VOD content and monetize it.
The collaboration with Eilish includes the tracks "all the good girls go to hell," "Happier Than Ever - Edit," and "Therefore I Am." The tracks will also change each week every Thursday.
Non-members of the SAC are still encouraged to upload their Fortnite Festival content during Season 3. However, the videos will not be included in the monetization process on YouTube.
Season 3 also released the Festival Pass which includes a free reward track and Premium Reward Track upgrade. Gamers who will avail of the Premium pack will receive additional unlockable rewards and the Green Roots Billie Outfit.
