Microsoft Office 2019 is Now Available for Only $40

Microsoft Office 2019 suite can now be purchased for only $40 for both Mac and Windows computers via Stack Social.

The one-time purchase will include all Office products, except Microsoft 365 and Teams, for personal and work applications.

This is a drop-down from its $229 price tag on the main Microsoft Office store with a purchase option for PayPal buyers to pay the package in installments.

There is no indication when the 82% discount will expire or how many Office 2019 packages are still in stock, thus it is recommended to purchase the package promo as soon as possible.

It is also worth noting that by 2025, Microsoft's digital support for both Office 2016 and 2019 will end.

The sale announcement comes in as Microsoft takes a step to roll out Office 2024 to the public.

Microsoft Prepares Commercial Release of Office 2024

As of writing, Microsoft Office LTSC 2024 is only available to corporate customers, although the tech giant has already released a preview to the public last March to tease what is in store for the newest installment.

According to the previews released, Microsoft Office 2024 will have new "meeting creation options and search enhancements in Outlook" and several new Dynamic Charts and Arrays for Excel.

All of these come in with a user design overhaul to improve the software's "performance, security, and accessibility."

It is worth noting that the upcoming Office suite will not include Publisher anymore as it is being retired nor the Teams app after Microsoft unbundled the product globally amid an antitrust probe in Europe.

Like other Office suites, Office 2024 will receive five-year digital support from Microsoft, including security and accessibility updates.

There will be no changes in the suites' price from previous releases.

Microsoft Office 2024 Leans More into AI Tech

If there is one major difference in the upcoming Office 2024, it will be the rollout of more AI-powered functions across the apps.

In addition to the Copilot AI chatbot, Microsoft plans to power its cloud services via Office 365, although specific uses were not mentioned.
