Nothing announced that ChatGPT integration is coming on its audio products including the CMF earbuds, starting May 21.
The company first launched an integration on the Phone (2) and was followed by (2a) earlier this month.
Nothing, OpenAI Brings ChatGPT to Earbuds
In an X post, Nothing shared that earbud users can utilize the voice command of ChatGPT without even touching their smartphone. The integration will be available across all Nothing and CMF by Nothing products.
The list includes Nothing Ear (1), Nothing Ear (2), Nothing Ear (stick), CMF Buds, CMF Buds Pro, and CMF Neckband Pro. The integration has been introduced to Nothing Ear and Ear (a) during their launch.
However, Nothing clarified that the integration will only be available when paired with a Nothing smartphone. The change will be available as an update to the Nothing X app. Users are advised to update their app by May 21.
Nothing Smartphones Debuts ChatGPT Integration
The company rolled out its ChatGPT integration feature last April. Nothing added a new widget that will launch the chatbot in different modes straight from the home screen.
A button on the screenshot and clipboard pop-up was also added to directly paste the content in a conversation thread. The ChatGPT integration on Nothing phones can handle various modes of input such as text, voice, and image.
Nothing also advised that users must ensure that their smartphone is compatible models with the feature. Once the ChatGPT app was downloaded the voice feature can be activated in the Nothing X app through the controls and voice assistant portion.
The company also shared that the ChatGPT support will be available soon to Nothing Phone (1) but no specific date has been hinted for now.
