Comcast Launches StreamSaver Bundle for Xfinity Customers
In a press release, Comcast announced that a new streaming bundle will be launching next week to all Xfinity customers nationwide. Due to its savings format, the bundle will only offer ad-supported Netflix and Peacock Premium.
Apple TV+ only offers one tier of service so the 4K quality will remain the same. However, Netflix Basic will only support HD streaming on top of the ads.
According to Comcast, the special bundle will help customers save up to $10 per month compared to signing up individually for each service. Peacock Premium alone is expected to increase to $8 per month in July while Netflix Basic is at $7 and Apple TV+ costs $10.
Comcast Opens Budget-Friendly Streaming
Comcast shared that StreamSaver was created to provide top-tier entertainment and live sports in a budget-friendly manner. The company partnered with Peacock, Netflix, and Apple which all have a wide collection of libraries.
"StreamSaver also reinforces the value of our broadband products, offering customers new ways to save money on streaming entertainment via the nation's best and most reliable network in and out of the home," said Dave Watson, CEO of Connectivity and Platforms, Comcast.
Customers can enjoy popular shows from each streaming site without spending too much money. Trending shows like "Bridgerton," "Bel-Air," and "The Morning Show" are all available on the bundle. The three streaming services also offer live sports coverage.
The Xfinity StreamSaver bundle is now available on Xfinity's available website. Interested subscribers can sign up for the bundle or combine their existing subscription with NOW TV for only $30 per month.
