BLU's latest smartphone, the Life Pure XL, boasts some of the most powerful hardware currently available on the market, and offers it for a $349 starting price.
The top-notch BLU Life Pure XL packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor under the hood and promises to be "one of the most powerful" smartphones on the market.
The latest smartphone comes as the new iteration in BLU's Life Pure series, and will enjoy a wider launch later this month.
"BLU Products, one of the fastest growing mobile phone manufacturers in the world announced a follow-up to their flagship LIFE PURE series of smartphone devices with the new BLU LIFE PURE XL, becoming one of the most powerful smartphones available in the world today with market leading processing, memory, display and camera technology," touts the press release.
"The BLU LiFE PURE XL continues our focus on stunning design with the latest CNC design technology available today to create a stunning curved unibody casing," added BLU Products CEO Samuel Ohev-Zion. "Built inside the stunning design is arguably the best smartphone device available on the planet today, with extremely advanced hardware to match its design."
In terms of specifications, the new BLU Life Pure XL packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, paired with Adreno 330 graphics and a hefty amount of RAM. The handset comes in two models: 16GB with 2GB of RAM, or 32GB with 3GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, but it is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Life Pure XL further sports a 5.5-inch display with a full HD 1080p resolution, topped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Other specs include a 16-megapixel rear camera and a very impressive front shooter that boasts an 8-megapixel sensor, unusually high for a front camera. Connectivity options consist of Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, WiFi Hotspot, FM Radio, and micro USB.
The BLU Life Pure XL will launch exclusively through Amazon initially. The 16GB model with 2GB of RAM comes with a $349 price tag, but will not hit retail until June. The higher-capacity 32GB model with 3GB of RAM, meanwhile, launches on May 9 with a black color option and a $399 price tag.
