Steve Jobs depicted as sexy anime girl, because Japan can

Late Apple CEO Steve Jobs is the star of a new crazy Japanese fashion line, which portrays him as a sexy anime girl.

The famous visionary has been featured in various comics so far, but this one seems to push it too far. Thinking about Steve Jobs as a sexy Japanese anime girl would probably be among the very last things on someone's mind, but this crazy concept has nonetheless become reality. Steve Jobs is now "Jobko," and wants to be on your T-shirt.

A weird mash-up manga now puts Steve Jobs' facial expression on a tiny cute girl in order to sell merchandise. More specifically, unisex T-shirts with Jobs' apparent Japanese girl alter-ego are now available from the illustrator of IS and the Xenosaga series. Chocolate Apple has reportedly been en route for years, and the final product (or at least one of them) is apparently ready at last.

Chocolate Apple is a manga biography of Steve Jobs dating back to 2011, but it's not to be confused with the manga biography of Jobs that is Mari Yamazaki's version of the official biography written by Walter Isaacson. If you're confused, it's all right - this whole story is confusing.

In the Chocolate Apple manga biography, Steve Jobs switches genders and appears as a sexy Japanese girl, as you can see on the T-shirt pictured above. The manga artist behind this is CHOCO, which leads to the wildly inspired name of Chocolate Apple.

In this manga, as well as the aforementioned T-shirts, Steve Jobs is depicted as Jobko, with "ko" being a very common ending for Japanese female names. Jobs' love for Japan, its culture, religion, food and others is no big secret, but it's quite hard to grasp just why Chocolate Apple would portray him as a female. Sure, it's easy to understand that attractive female figures help sell stuff, but why Steve Jobs has been chosen to be the female here is anyone's guess.

T-shirts are likely just the first step. At this point, it wouldn't be all that surprising if "Jobko" would appear on various other merchandise. For now, those interested in expressing their admiration for Steve Jobs's feminine version can now do so by purchasing a "Jobko" T-shirt, which costs 3,750 yen (about $35), according to RocketNews24.
