Silent Hill Transmission Returns on May 30, Hints Important Franchise Updates

Konami revealed that Silent Hill Transmission is returning on May 30 to give major updates to fans on games, the film, and the new merch.

Fans are expecting to get announcements on the Silent Hill 2 Remake along with a deeper dive into the film adaptation of the franchise.

Konami Teases Updates on Silent Hill Franchise

Silent Hill Transmission is Konami's exclusive event held to announce new projects and updates about the franchise. Fans have been waiting for another Transmission event after PlayStation released a promotional video hinting at Silent Hill 2 Remake.

In an X post, Konami invited Silent Hill fans to tune in on May 30 to the official YouTube channel of the franchise. The upcoming event marks the second installment of Silent Hill Transmission.

"We'll share game updates, a deeper look at the film, and new merch," Konami updated. More details are expected to be revealed at the event as the company decided to keep the news in a tight lid for now.

Silent Hill Transmission Expectations

The first Silent Hill Transmission event in 2022 revealed big news about the development of Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill: Townfall, Silent Hill f, Silent Hill: Ascension, and the movie "Return to Silent Hill."

Silent Hill 2 Remake released its last trailer earlier this year. However, fans were disappointed as Konami did not disclose the release date. Fans are now hoping that the upcoming event will reveal the specific launch date for the much-awaited remake.

Other games which are yet to materialize from Konami are also expected to get updates. The release date for the movie, which will center on James' return to Silent Hill, is expected to be announced.
