Websea Labs, a crypto project that supports and promotes promising GameFi startups, is hosting a side event at GM Vietnam or GMVN.
GMVN, a highly anticipated blockchain event for Vietnam in 2024, will be attended by over 9,000 participants and 500+ companies. This event will offer a massive opportunity to explore and discuss all the fun and innovative things happening in the crypto space, featuring exhibitions, events, and hackathons.
To take advantage of this vast network, Websea Labs will host its own event on June 8 from 13:30 to 22:00 (GMT+7), with Meta Heaven and ABGA as co-hosts.
ABGA is a club focused on Web3 games, supported by prominent institutions in the industry. Meta Heaven, meanwhile, is the first Web3 game incubated by WebSea Labs, which combines traditional farming and mining with the power of blockchain technology. Recently, the game with a self-sustaining in-game circular market announced season 1 of Genesis WL Airdrop.
Now, the Websea Labs event will discuss the new era of GameFi, covering the emerging trends in the sector, which has been seeing a resurgence. As Websea noted in its tweet, venture capital investment in crypto has revived in part driven by GameFi, which attracted $594 million in the first quarter.
Moreover, blockchain gaming recorded about 2.1 million daily unique active wallets (dUAW) during the last quarter, and in the last month, the sector accounted for 28% of all dApp activity, according to Dapp Radar.
Against this backdrop, the Websea Labs event will feature opening remarks by special guests and keynote speeches by the hosts on the exciting topic of GameFi. There will be three panels, namely The Future of Public Chains and GameFi Integration, Capital Markets' View on GameFi and Investment Strategies, and The Influence and Business Models of GameFi Ecosystem Players.
For this GameFi-focused discussion, Websea Labs event will bring together industry experts and top investors, including representatives from public chains like SUI, SEI, Klaytn, Zetachain, and Conflux, as well as investment specialists from Web3port, MT Capital, Kyros Ventures, and Comma3 Ventures along with renowned GameFi accelerators, platforms, and guilds such as ABGA, Aura, Degame, Zentry, and W3GG. This presents a chance for global Web3 enthusiasts, professionals, investors, and participants to join Websea in its endeavor to take the GameFi sector forward.
As a rising player in the incubation field, Websea has been focusing on the innovative application of blockchain tech, which involves AI, gaming, and more. Back in late March, Websea Labs also launched a $100 million builder program to fund new opportunities in GameFi and DePIN.
