NVIDIA and AMD are preparing to launch gaming laptops equipped with Microsoft's Copilot Plus AI, starting with ASUS and MSI.
During the Computex, NVIDIA teased the RTX AI PC models that will start with ASUS and MSI which will be powered by GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs and AMD's latest Strix CPUs.
NVIDIA, AMD Laptops Confirms Partnership with Copilot Plus AI
In a press release, NVIDIA confirmed the RTX AI PC laptops from ASUS and MSI. The laptops are expected to launch with Windows 11 AI PC capabilities and a free update to Copilot+ PC once available.
"Now, with Project G-Assist and NVIDIA ACE, we're unlocking the next generation of AI-powered experiences for over 100 million RTX AI PC users," said Jason Paul, vice president of consumer AI at NVIDIA. The company first launched its AI PCs in 2018.
The new GeForce RTX AI Laptops will include the ASUS TUF A14/A16 Copilot+, ASUS Zephyrus G16 Copilot+, ASUS ProArt PX13/P16, and MSI Stealth A16 AI Copilot+. AMD has yet to announce its lineup during its own keynote later.
NVIDIA Offers GeForce AI Assistant
The chip giant also unveiled Project G-Assist, a GeForce AI assistance designed to guide gamers. The feature will offer gaming strategies, analysis of multiplayer replays, and assistance for complex creative workflows.
NVIDIA shared that Project G-Assist analyzes text or voice input from players. The data will include contextual information from the game screen and run the process through AI vision models.
During its test run with ARK: Survival Ascended, the AI assistant could answer queries on the game's lore, give strategies to defeat challenging boss levels, and more. NVIDIA also stated that the responses are personalized based on the player's current gaming session.
Project G-Assist is expected to help gamers perform optimally through a series of insights and metrics based on AI.
