The poster mirrors the first season's promotional image, hinting at the dark and tragic events that may unfold in the upcoming season.

The teaser materials both show the main characters and sisters Vi and Jinx locked in an embrace. The new poster depicted an anxious Vi as Jinx caressed her head, opposite to the first poster where Vi hugs a scared Jinx (then known as Powder).

Many fans are quick to notice the striking similarities as people speculate how the growing turmoil between the two will explode.

'Arcane' Season 2: What to Expect

Despite being loosely based on Riot Games' existing lore on the League of Legends, little is known about the events that will unfold in "Arcane" Season 2.

An earlier teaser trailer already confirmed the appearance of the Zaun's artificial werewolf Warwick, seemingly confirming one of the popular fan theories online.

In addition to Warwick, earlier statements from "Arcane" showrunners have confirmed the appearance of Orianna and Janna in the next season.

The original Runeterra lore materials depict Orianna as the "Lady of Clockwork" with her body made from clockwork machines powered by hextech, the magical technology that fuses gears with elemental and spirit forces.

Janna, on the other hand, is a wind spirit that previously protected an old sea-faring city that later became the foundation for Zaun.

According to her Champion Legend, Janna's followers still roam the excavated canals of Zaun as they pray for her to save them.

With the events of Season 1's ending, fans can also expect a full-on conflict with tech giant Piltover against the undercity Zaun to be seen as new alliances and betrayals ignite.

Netflix Rolls Out More Animated Shows in 2024

Following the success of "Arcane," Netflix has been rolling out more animated original shows to capture the hype.

Another Netflix animated original, "Blue Eye Samurai," received universal acclaim as critics gave the show a 100% on its release. A second season for the Japanese-inspired drama has already been greenlit.

So far, the streaming giant has already announced the arrival of a new anime-inspired "Tomb Raider" series, a "Terminator" spin-off animated series, and two more "Castlevania" titles.
