Apple Weather App Shows Blank Screen

In the Apple Community thread, several users shared that the Weather app does not load for any of their locations. Once the app is opened, it should have shown the forecast for the day, instead, the page remained as a blank screen.

Some users revealed that they experienced the issue after updating the app. However, others shared that their app is not updated but still have the same issue.

Apple has already confirmed the outage stating "Weather may be slow or unavailable." The tech giant also announced that all users are affected.

The Weather app is one of the core applications for every Apple device. The app is used as a default weather update for iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, and Apple Watch.

Weather App Not Responding? Try These Steps Instead

Since Apple has admitted to the outage, this means that the problem lies behind the company's software. Aside from waiting for it to resolve, users can install other alternative weather apps to use.

In addition, there are also web-based alternatives that could help the users see the weather prediction in their area. The National Weather Service website provides a piece of reliable and up-to-date weather information directly from the U.S. government.

Users can also utilize smart assistant integration like Siri, Google Assistant, or Alexa to check weather updates across the web on their behalf.

As of writing, Apple has yet to resolve the issue. There is also no announcement on how long it will take before the Weather app becomes functional again.
