Looking for new content curated to your preferences has become much harder on X (formerly Twitter) as the platform started hiding everyone's "Likes" tab.
Other accounts' "Likes" tab is often a go-to destination for many users to look for similar content with the people they regularly follow.
Despite the new challenges, users can still discover new related content through these various methods available on the platform:

Follow 'Topics'
After the "Likes" tab, following other accounts' "Topics" is the next best thing to discover new content similar to regularly-followed users.
For web users, people's "Topics" tab can be accessed by going to their profile, clicking the three dots at the top right corner, and selecting the "Topics" option in the menu.
Users can then select to follow topics they are interested in: from games, politics, sports, entertainment, and even various social media trends X has decided to include in "Topics."
Join 'Communities'
Another way to curate the timeline feed with similar topics is to join the X's "Communities." The tab can be accessed through the profile menu for both the web and app versions.
Through the "Communities" tab, users have more opportunities to discover more specific topics and discussions suited to their tastes, as well as interact and engage with other people using the feature.
Look for Thread Posts
If the algorithm-recommended content does not exactly suit the content previously provided by the "Likes" tab, another good method is to look for thread posts.
Unlike content recommended by the "Topics" and Communities" tabs, thread posts are more tailor-made to provide better insights into new content and accounts through other people's suggestions.
Searching for thread posts is much harder than accessing X's features but it is surer to give people the assurance needed before falling into a new rabbit hole of content.
Customize 'Explore' Settings
Of course, users can still use the search settings on X if they want to look for the latest trending topics on the site via the "Explore" tab.
The feature can be further enhanced to provide curated topics based on people's preferences by changing the recommended trends and switching geographic locations.
Use Platform Mods
If all else fails to deliver, users can still resort to third-party extensions to modify their X experience.
Much like YouTube removed dislike counts on all videos, it would not be a surprise if a new mod comes out that could show other accounts' likes again anytime soon.
Most of the social platform mods and extensions can be accessed via GitHub, Google Web Store, and other digital repositories.
