Minecraft Mod Promotes Studying While In-Game

Flashcards will display questions on the player's screen once it is enabled. The players can edit, add, or remove categories. There are also themes, questions, and answers to choose from, giving players more options to customize.

According to the creator, the inspiration for Flashcards came from a Reddit post that showed a plugin with a similar functionality. Players can also edit the interval time between each question to prevent it from popping up at weird times.

The Flashcards are now available to download for free from Modrinth. The mod also supports importing content from Anki, a popular study software.

Minecraft Study Mod Receives Feedback

Several Redditors appreciated the Flashcards mods, citing that this would be a helpful tool, especially since Minecraft is popular among children. For instance, a user shared that the mod will be useful for his son as he tends to play instead of studying.

On the other hand, some shared suggestions for improving the mod in the future. Some gamers requested the possibility of receiving penalties for failing questions and rewards for every correct answer.

A user also recommended additional integrations such as adding streaks for higher-level status effects, implementing a timer for each questions, and showing the correct or wrong answered questions on the HUD.

As of writing, Ninjaking312 has yet to confirm if there will be adjustments and updates to the mod. Regardless, the Minecraft community has several mods that showcase the creativity of gamers.
