Netflix Teases Fans for Upcoming Season 4 of 'The Umbrella Academy'

Netflix released the first look for the much-awaited Season 4 of "The Umbrella Academy," arriving on the streaming platform on August 8.

Fans are expected to witness new characters and villains for the next and final season of the series.

'The Umbrella Academy' Shares Snaps For Season 4

In a press release, Netflix revealed exclusive details for the final season of the show. During the end of Season 3, a new timeline was created by the family patriarch, Reginald, and the siblings were left with no powers.

"There are new enemies who want to see them wiped from existence, but how do they face their enemies without their powers? And will the siblings ever get them back?" the teaser read.

Season 4 will feature six episodes starting with "The Unbearable Tragedy of Getting What You Want" and "Jean and Gene." The remaining episodes "The Squid and The Girl," "The Cleanse, "Six Years, Five Months, and Two Days," and "End of the Beginning" will all be available on Netflix simultaneously.

Netflix Drops Hints for 'The Umbrella Academy' Farewell Season

Netflix shared a script page for the first episode of the season. The scene is focused on the introduction of new characters: Drs. Jean and Gene Thibedeau. A dedicated episode is also expected to dig further into their character based on the episodes' titles.

"The Umbrella Academy" first premiered on Netflix in 2019. The first three seasons of the series were widely praised by critics. The show also received notable Emmy nominations.

Both Emmy Raver-Lampman, who plays Allison, and David Castañeda, who portrays Diego, shared their excitement about the surprise waiting for the finale. Castañeda also described the finale as his favorite season.
