Palword Introduces Sakurajima Island on Latest Update

The Sakurajima is located in the northwest portion of the map. The new island will serve as a new place for players to take control of a tower that is protected by The Moonflowers.

Sakurajima also brought various upgrades to the game. New items, weapons, a merchant, cosmetics, and buildings are included in the update. The Tower Boss hard mode is also introduced along with a new lockpicking feature.

The island is also home to new Pals, allowing players to discover new species that have never been seen before. The Pal Box capacity has now doubled from 480 Pals to 960 Pals. There is also an increased maximum amount of power that can be enhanced with Lifmunk Effigies.

Aside from a new island, a new arena has also appeared in the Desiccated Desert. The area is designed for players to battle against each other through multiplayer exclusive content.

An oil rig from the Rayne Syndicate was also found in the ocean. Players must work together to defeat the enemies and collect valuable resources like crude oil. The oil can be extracted by unlocking and placing a new building in certain areas of the world.

The crude oil will also serve as a powerful ingredient in crafting high-tier equipment and spheres with the use of Plasteel.

Pocketpair also teased a Meteorite Event that could happen anytime soon. Players are advised to watch out for falling supplies and an unknown Pal from the space.
