Disney Unveils Trailer for Marvel's 'Agatha All Along' Series

Disney+ released the teaser trailer for Marvel's "Agatha All Along" which is slated to premiere its first two episodes on September 18.

The series is a spin-off of Marvel's 2021 series "WandaVision" wherein Agatha was revealed to be the antagonist.

Disney Teases 'Agatha All Along' Ahead of September Release

The two-minute trailer revealed a powerless Agatha after the events of "WandaVision." During a murder investigation, she met Aubrey Plaza's character, Rio, who awakened her from a distorted spell.

Agatha will build her coven as she decides to go down the Witches' Road. A group of witches will help her navigate through the magical gauntlet that could "reward a witch with what they're missing."

Kathryn Hahn will reprise her titular role and will be joined by Plaza, Joe Locke, Ali Ahn, Sasheer Zamata, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Debra Jo Rupp, and Patti LuPone.

'Agatha All Along' Hints Scarlet Witch's Death

Agatha was first introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as the antagonist to Wanda's series. Prior to "WandaVision," Wanda was the only known witch in the universe, but it all changed once Agatha's true nature was revealed.

The aftermath of Wanda's action in the series continued until "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness." The Scarlet Witch officially met her demise after her final battle with the Sorcerer Supreme.

The trailer for "Agatha All Along" implied that Wanda is finally gone but has trapped Agatha in a distorted spell. However, some fans are still hoping that the Witches' Road might revive Wanda for another face-off.

The remaining seven episodes of the series will be released weekly until November 6, just in time for the Halloween celebration given the show's spooky premise.
