Astro Playroom Launches Treasure Hunt for Special Bots

Last month, the team dropped four Special Bots in the game which players should find by exploring a treasure hunt riddle. The secret capsule was hidden in the GPU Jungle and players must stand on top of a big plan to make the capsule appear.

Players must undergo a tedious process of pausing the game until the Astral Clock screen appears on screen. The passcode turned out to be the original release date of Bloodborne DLC which featured Lady Maria.

Once the capsule opens, Special Bot Lady Maria is finally freed and waiting in the Mission Room. Players can transfer her to Astro Bot once the game is ready.

Astro Playroom Hypes Astro Bot Release With Riddles

Astro Bot for PS5 will officially arrive on September 6, leaving fans a few months to wait for its official launch. Team Asobi, the developers behind the Astro franchise, are committed to building hype for the game.

During the opening of preorders for Astro Bot, Astro Playroom introduced the Special Bots. After the reveal of Lady Maria, Selene from Returnal was unveiled as the second hidden Special Bot.

Team Asobi shared that it will continue to release two more riddles in the game for August and September. The team also hinted at the upcoming Special Bots with their silhouette.

"But the treasure hunt does not end here! We will be back soon with 2 more riddles on the run-up to the release of Astro Bot. And by the looks of it, we might have to make the next ones even harder," said Nicolas Doucet, studio head at Team Asobi.
