EA Experience Player Surge Ahead of College Football 25 Release

Several players were amazed upon seeing the number of players that were actively playing online once the early access was opened for the game. YouTube and X user Bordeaux shared a screenshot showing that 713,974 players are online at the same time.

This record only proved how popular the game is considering that the number only accounts for people who purchased the Deluxe Edition and MVP bundle for early access and other preorder benefits.

Moreover, the record only reflected gamers who were playing through their Xbox Live or PSN accounts. Players who are trying out the offline feature could still increase the total number of concurrent players before the big release of the game.

EA Servers Fail Amid Early Access for College Football 25

A few hours after the early access was granted, several players complained about the failing servers of EA. Fans shared their frustration upon realizing that they were not able to access the Dynasty, Ultimate Team, and other game modes.

Fortunately, it seemed that the servers were now properly working for the majority of players. However, there could still be a chance of jamming the servers once all players open the game on July 19.

Walmart also revealed that it has sold 1,000 units of 1TB all-black Xbox Series S after the start of early access. The Series S is one of the three platforms where College Football 25 will be available through EA Sports.
