EA Sports unveiled its all-new BOOM Tech gameplay, allowing players to gain more ball carrier control, for the upcoming Madden NFL 25 release on August 16.
The new series will soon be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
EA Sports to Launch Madden NFL 25 With New Game Tech
In a press release, EA Sports detailed the improved gameplay features of the Madden NFL 25. The new FieldSENSE and BOOM tech are physics-based tackling systems that will allow players to immerse fully like an NFL superstar.
Moreover, the visuals and presentations across consoles are revamped for the series. An additional two commentary teams will be featured to ensure that gamers will experience the NFL authenticity in every mode of play.
"BOOM Tech has been multiple years in the making and represents the most impactful FieldSENSE improvement yet, and combined with a new audio and visual experience across the game plus deepened modes and increased customization, Madden NFL 25 will look, feel and sound different," said Mike Mahar, senior production director for Madden NFL.
Madden NFL 25 Reveals New Features
EA Sports detailed the four new core features that are exclusively available to Madden NFL 25. This includes a new physics-based tackling that will allow players to cut loose and attack the ball. All movements are analyzed based on their authentic physical outcomes.
The studio also re-engineered the Hit Stick through a timing-based mechanic. This will give players more control over their angle, accuracy, hits, and more. Fans can also expect that more realistic physical movements will be shown.
The new Ball Carrier Balance and Recovery System will allow players to experience the impact of every hit. Gamers will absorb big hits, regain their balance, and continue their play based on their recorded ratings in the game.
