Xiaomi launched its first flip phone under the MIX lineup, along with a portable printer accessory that allows instant photo outputs.
The launch of MIX Flip was also joined by the introduction of Xiaomi's fourth-gen Fold which features a Leica camera.
Xiaomi MIX Flip Joins Competition With Samsung, Others
In a press release, Xiaomi introduced its new compact foldable device that comes with a four-inch All Around Liquid outer display. It also has a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 Nitz peak brightness, and eye protection.
Xiaomi's outer display for its flip phone is comparable bigger than Samsung's. This allows the user to perform various tasks without needing to open the phone completely.
It can run over 200 applications from health, communication, and more through the Xiaomi HyperOS. It also supports connection with Xiaomi EV and other smart home devices.
The device also introduced a photography kit that connects the Mix Flip to a portable printer for instant shooting and printing.
Xiaomi Improves Foldable Phone With MIX Fold 4
Xiaomi boasted a new milestone for its fourth-generation foldable phone. The MIX Fold 4 features an "all-carbon architecture" for the first time. This enhanced the overall durability and reduced the weight of the device.
The smartphone also features an increased battery capacity of 260mAh, resulting in an overall battery power of 5100 mAh. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile platform and an innovative 3D cooling system.
MIX Fold 4 also comes with a Leica optical quad-camera system. The main camera has a 50MP Light Fusion that can capture colors more accurately. The device is also equipped with a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens and 115mm Leica ultra-telephoto lens.
The MIX Flip starts at around $825, the portable printer at $68, and the MIX Fold 4 is priced at around $1230.
