Amazon Preps for Prequel Series 'Vought Rising'

The Vought empire is first introduced in "The Boys" as a powerful and huge corporation that runs the entire superhero industry. The Seven is recruited and controlled by the rules of the executives, leading to their corrupt nature.

During the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2024, Ackles announced that a prequel addressing the story of Soldier Boy and Stormfront is already in the works under Amazon. Aya Cash will reprise her role as Stormfront and will be joined by "The Boys" executive producer Paul Grellong as showrunner.

The pre-production for "Vought Rising" is ongoing as the script for the series is not yet finished. "We've got everything from Judy Garland to Paul McCartney," Cash stated.

Amazon Expands 'The Boys' Franchise Amid Surging Popularity

Despite the news that "The Boys" will end in season five, fans will still have more to look forward to from the franchise. "Gen V," a spin-off series unveiled its season two trailer during the SDCC panel, confirming The Deep's appearance.

"Gen V" and "Vought Rising" are yet to announce their release date. The final season of "The Boys" is yet to be revealed but showrunner Eric Kripke teased that Soldier Boy will be a regular cast on it.
