Visual Concepts and 2K Games recently revealed what players can expected in the upcoming NBA 2K25 once it's released. Among the features revealed for the game are the new MyGM mode and "The Curry Era" content. 

These new features are the latest addition to the list of things players of the upcoming game can enjoy. It has been previously revealed that the game will feature MyCARER, MyPLAYER, and more. 

NBA 2K25 Unveils New MyGM 

It has been revealed by 2K Games that the newest game mode players of the game will be able to enjoy is the MyGM. While it has been noted that this game mode has been present in previous games, it was called other names before. This made it difficult for players to locate the game mode. 

As its name suggests, this game mode allows the player to take on the role of a general manager. Being a general manager in real life is hard, and the developers want to replicate that experience for players enjoying NBA 2K25. In this game mode, the player will be put in situations that general managers typically face when managing a basketball team.

Players will have different backstories to choose from when coming up with their GM's character. Options include having a GM who is a former player or a former talent scout. It has also been revealed that there will be 55 perks in MyGM to choose from. Players should take note that there are different potential combinations that will help with one's progress, but these combinations will depend on management aspirations.

A player's character stats on MyGM will also determine the dialog to unlock. This will help set the tone in their managerial experience, including a renowned RPG experience as well as the addition of the MyGM Building.

The Curry Era: All About the Golden State Warriors Dynasty

After the focus on "Mamba Moments" in NBA 2K24, the latest title in the franchise will now feature another player who has been considered by many as the best point guard of all time. This is none other than Stephen Curry, who will feature in what is known as "The Curry Era."

It will take players along Curry's journey, beginning from his humble beginnings down to cementing his legacy. Players will get a taste of the "Golden State Warriors dynasty," which comes as an additional experience on MyNBA's Eras content.

From his renowned Splash Brothers stint with shooting guard, Klay Thompson, down to the classic GSW team with Draymond Green, and lastly, with the arrival of the "slim reaper" from OKC Thunders, Kevin Durant, The Curry Era takes gamers down the memory lane of Chef Curry's legacy in the league.

Players may either play as the Golden State Warriors or a team that opposed them throughout the years in the iconic NBA Playoffs and Finals.

NBA 2K25: More to Experience On the Court

NBA 2K25 promises great improvements to its gameplay, as well as offering an upgrade to the franchise's existing game modes, such as MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and MyNBA. ProPLAY is also available on 2K25, and this is similar to what was offered in the previous game. However, it is said to bring better experiences in this release, one that takes into account real NBA footage to help make the game more realistic and immersive.

NBA 2K25 is coming this September to the PlayStation5, Xbox Series S and X, and PC.
