Volvo and its Electrification Program

One of the car brands that focused on adding EVs to its lineup is Volvo. In fact, back in 2017, the company revealed that it's looking to put out a vehicle that can rival Tesla's Model 3 that would be available at a low price but come with more range.

In the past years, Volvo has been known for its clean-energy solutions, and the company even pledged that by 2030, it will have a fully-electric lineup powered only by batteries. With its plan to shift to electric vehicles, Volvo has had to deal with numerous setbacks along the way. Still the company is still making an effort to fulfill its zero-emissions goal that has been set for 2040.
