Nintendo has finally released The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom to the world, and its early reviews are already looking impressive as it is warmly received by critics and the gaming community.
This new entry to its iconic Zelda franchise has fans claiming that it did not disappoint, and while it veered away from the Tears of the Kingdom animation, it is still scoring high in critic reviews.

'Echoes of Wisdom' Receives Impressive Reviews
Echoes of Wisdom brings an entirely new focus to the Zelda franchise as the popular princess is the one given a magic artifact known as the "Tri-Rod," which has the magical powers to create "echoes." Zelda is also given a Swordfighter form which lets her engage in close combat against enemies and threats.
Reviews are now coming in for Echoes of Wisdom, and its Metacritic score puts it under "generally favorable" with a high score of 86 based on 84 critic reviews, as of press time. On the other hand, Opencritic has given it a score of 85.
The game is warmly received by critics and has been given rave reviews because of its gameplay, mechanics, and new plot, which introduced the world to a new Zelda experience.
Nintendo's 'The Legend of Zelda' Franchise
This latest release from Nintendo is making history on its own, especially as this is the first The Legend of Zelda game in the franchise where Princess Zelda is the lead. Over the years, Nintendo has been active in its development of new Zelda games, and this made the series confusing for some gamers. However, there are actually only five games you need to dive into to follow its progression.
With its popularity, Nintendo has confirmed that it is also developing a live-action movie that will focus on the franchise, but no specific plot or details have been revealed as of press time.
