The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is set to make its debut soon, but an eager retailer has already spilled the beans regarding the device's specs, features, and price.
Samsung has set an Unpacked press event for Sept. 3, ahead of the IFA 2014 trade show, when it will unveil its next-generation flagship phablet. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is one of the most highly anticipated devices to launch this year, and an Indonesian retailer now confirms the handset's previously-rumored specs and features.
PhoneArena was the first to spot that Indonesian retailer Erafone has already launched a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 product page complete with specs, features, and pricing details for the device. The details listed here fall in line with previous leaks.
First of all, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will come in two models: SM-N910S and SM-N910C. The first one will pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, while the other will come with the unannounced Samsung Exynos 5433 Octa chipset (quad Cortex-A53 + quad Cortex-A57) with 64-bit architecture. The listing makes no mention of the GPU model that will grace the Note 4.
Both of these models will come with 4G LTE support and will share the same sepcifications other than the processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will boast a 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display with an impressive resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and will come with a hefty 4GB of RAM on board. Other specs include a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), autofocus, and dual-LED flash. In terms of storage, the phablet will come in three flavors: 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB of internal storage capacity, expandable up to 128GB via microSD. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE, and 3G HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100. On the software side, the Galaxy Note 4 will apparently run Android 4.4.3 KitKat out of the box.
When it comes to pricing, Erafone lists the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with a price tag of IDR 9,499,000, which would translate to roughly $817.
While these specifications definitely sound plausible and fall in line with previous leaks, keep in mind that it still remains unconfirmed at this point.
