The Moto Hint Bluetooth headset made its official debut back in September and is now ready to hit the UK next month.
Retailer Clove UK has announced that it will start selling the Motorola Moto Hint headset starting in December, offering the device for £99 (including VAT). For those unfamiliar with the gadget, the Moto Hint is designed to allow users to control their smartphone via voice commands.
Motorola markets the device as a "discreet wireless earbud" that looks and feels great, while also enabling users to have complete control of their smartphone and access everything they need simply by using their voice.
Users will be able to pair the Moto Hint with a Moto X or another smartphone and ask questions regarding the weather forecast, their commute, or others, and receive the answers directly in their ear. Users can also make calls, send messages, or hear notifications through the Moto Hint, without having to pull out their smartphone.
"Motorola are getting some fab devices out there, we've got the Moto G, the Moto X and the Moto 360. A new line that is heading our way in December is the Moto Hint, another wearable that like the Moto 360 keeps your phone in your pocket or on the desk and allows you to take control with your voice," Clove UK touts.
"It works with any handset but works best with a Moto X and the awesome always-on listening feature. The Moto Hint will work with other devices, you can pair it with a Sony Z3, an iPhone or a Lumia device and with a tap of the capacitive button use your voice to take control."
The Motorola Moto Hint Bluetooth headset aims to be a different type of personal assistant and make it easier for users to interact with their smartphone via voice commands. The gadget costs $149.99 in the U.S., available directly from Motorola's website, and interested buyers in the UK will be able to get the Moto Hint for £99 from Clove starting next month. Clove doesn't offer a specific date for when the device will become available for purchase, but says it will ship it to customers as soon as it becomes available on its retail site in mid-December.
