Motorola is looking to Cyber Monday to offer attractive discounts on its new Moto X (second generation, 2014), as well as various accessories.
Black Friday deals are all over the place and have created a huge buzz, but Motorola hasn't forgotten about Crazy Monday either. The company has officially announced that this coming Monday its new Moto X will cost just $0.01 when signing a two-year contract with Verizon and $140 off otherwise, if Big Red is not your cup of tea. At the same time, the company will also be slashing 30 percent off all accessories, except for the Google Chromecast streaming dongle.
The $140 discount on the new Moto X refers to the unlocked model, and will essentially bring the price down to $359.00. That price falls in line with the first-generation Moto X launched back in 2013, but the new iteration offers notable improvements on all fronts compared to its predecessor.
To take advantage of this offer, interested customers will have to log into the Motorola website at this link at 11 AM CST (2 AM CST in the EU) on Monday, Dec. 1. Registrations will be open until 5 PM CST or while supplies last. Once you register for this offer, you will receive a confirmation email and a unique promotional code, valid for 14 days. This means that you will be able to use the code until Monday, Dec. 15, at 11:59 CST.
As a reminder, the new Moto X (2014) sports a 5.2-inch display and packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor under the hood. The handset also comes with 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel rear camera, among the highlights. The second-generation Moto X is far better than its predecessor in terms of specs and this new offer is expected to attract plenty of buyers. Considering that it's a limited-time dea, interested customers might want to stay alert and take advantage of it while it lasts. Motorola ran several promotions for its original Moto X, and each time it sold out in no time.
As previously mentioned, the new Moto X will be $140 off or $0.01 on-contract with Verizon only this Cyber Monday, Dec. 1, between 11 AM and 5PM Central Time, or while supplies last.
