Sony just posted a new teaser for its new Xperia Z4 Tablet, set to debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 next week.
With the MWC 2015 rapidly approaching, things are heating up as various companies are getting ready to unveil their latest and greatest. We previously heard that Sony will not be showcasing its next-generation Xperia Z4 flagship smartphone at the show, but the company apparently plans to unveil the Xperia Z4 Tablet.
"Thinner. Lighter. Brighter. All will be revealed on 02.03.15," reads the tagline of a new teaser image the company posted on its official Sony Xperia Google+ account.
Just the other day, Sony had briefly leaked a teaser for the upcoming Xperia Z4 Tablet on its Xperia Lounge application, but pulled it shortly after. This time the new teaser is official, intentional, and it's here to stay, confirming that the next-generation Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is indeed set to make its official debut on March 2, at the MWC 2015 trade show.
As you can see in the image above, posted by Sony, the upcoming tablet looks ultra-slim and should be quite comfortable to hold with one hand. Sony has posted no other details regarding the specs and features of its latest slate, but the new Xperia Z4 Tablet is nonetheless expected to boast notable improvements on all fronts compared to its predecessor. Just like most recent Sony devices, the tablet should also be water and dust-resistant. On the software side, the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is expected to rock Android 5.0 Lollipop straight out of the box.
At the same time, Sony has posted no information or teasers for a new flagship smartphone, so the Xperia Z4 may not make an appearance at the show after all. Recent whispers suggested that Sony might choose to unveil its Xperia Z4 smartphone at a separate event, at a later date.
While things remain unclear regarding the Xperia Z4 smartphone launch, the Xperia Z4 Tablet is now officially confirmed to make its debut in just a few short days, at the MWC. We'll be covering the event to bring you the latest news as soon as they become available, so stay tuned.
