HTC Google Nexus 9 tablet now $75 off at Best Buy

If you've been eyeing the high-end Google Nexus 9 tablet, Best Buy now has a neat promotion offering the slate for $75 off.

The Nexus 9 made its official debut back in October 2014, boasting top-notch specs and features all around. The tablet revived a collaboration between Google and HTC, and launched as the very first slate to boast Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, serving as one of the launch vehicles for the OS.

The HTC-made Nexus 9 stirred lots of interest worldwide since its debut, as it rocks a sleek design, high-end specs and features, as well as the much-touted Nexus experience that guarantees timely updates as soon as a new version of Android is ready to roll out.

The Nexus 9 doesn't sport the premium aluminum unibody design some were expecting from HTC, but it nonetheless has a stylish aluminum frame around its display that makes it look and feel premium.

When it comes to hardware specifications, the HTC-made Google Nexus 9 features an 8.9-inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels at a 4:3 aspect ratio and packs a 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor under the hood, clocked at 2.3GHz and paired with 192-core Kepler graphics, as well as 2GB of RAM.

The Nexus 9 comes with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage capacity, and further sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.6-megapixel front shooter, NFC, and optional LTE. Google's latest Nexus 9 is widely considered one of the best large-screen Android tablets currently available on the market, and a notable price cut should only make it even more popular among consumers.

Best Buy is now shaving $75 off the regular retail price of the Nexus 9, offering both storage options. The 16GB Nexus 9 is now available for $324, while the higher-capacity 32GB model sports a price tag of $404. The retailer is offering both the Indigo Black and the Lunar White color options for either the 16GB or 32GB variants of the tablet.
